Behind the Lens:
Shanette Jacobs, is a 21 year old a Law Student at the Northwest University. She is ambitious and creative, which will assure that any photoshoot is filled with new fresh ideas. "What I like about photographs is that they capture a moment that’s gone forever and impossible to reproduce. As Henri Cartier-Bresson said, “For me, the camera is a sketch book, an instrument of intuition and spontaneity.”
SJ Photography is her new, small photography business located in Potchefstroom, Northwest. Shanette is an artist and she believes that imagery can be therapeutic to the ill, can inspire the uninspired and save the lost; thus her passion as photographer is to create imagery that stirs something up in your soul.
